Some cats will purr when scared or anxious. If your cat seems to enjoy the purrito, though, it might be because of the swaddling effect. My girl Tabasco, however, would ME-OW her disapproval if I ever made a purrito out of her. I guess dressing up is not her thing--although my sister said her front paws make her look like she's wearing Prada shoes. In the comments you'll see that one lady "bowritto'd" her dog. Aside from looking pissed, Izzy was purring the whole time. She's a complete attention whore and I think both she and I had fun.
